Estate agents in Dordogne, Lot-et-Garonne and Lot
We are an estate agent in a particularly beautiful part of southwest France, encompassing the Dordogne, Lot-et-Garonne and the Lot.
It is an area rich in history – the caves and their prehistoric inhabitants reach back 400,000 years, and now house amazing crystalline formations and underground rivers. The area has many chateaux, the majority commanding fantastic views over surrounding valleys and rivers.
The beautiful landscape is green – a combination of woods, rivers, valleys and rolling hills, and makes for wonderful exploring – walking, cycling, canoeing or on horseback.
The Perigord is renowned for its fine wine and good food – all can be experienced at your leisure – either on tasting visits to the vineyards, or at the buzzing weekly markets in most towns and villages, or at the wide range of cafés, bistros and restaurants around the region.
The area offers many activities – from historical interests to more outdoor sporting pastimes – there's something for all ages.
Importantly the Dordogne , Lot-et-Garonne and the Lot are very accessible, with Bergerac airport (with flights coming from UK, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Paris) rarely more than 1 hour and a half or so from most of our properties. It is also not far from the major cities of Bordeaux, Toulouse and Brive for more sophisticated city culture and international airports.
Dordogne - fine food and history
The Dordogne is the most well known of our areas - to the west of the Lot and north of the Lot-et-Garonne - dominated by the Dordogne and Vezere rivers.
Lot-et-Garonne - beautiful landscapes
Located in the south-west of France, the Lot-et-Garonne is to the south of the Dordogne and west of the Lot. It sits between Bordeaux, Toulouse, Périgord and Gascogne.
Lot - a rich and varied heritage
The Lot lies at the northern extremity of the Midi-Pyrénées region of southwest France, to the east of Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne.
